The total expression of human desire can be captured in a brushstroke, that’s why art isn’t something we simply own – we respect it, we admire it, we marvel at it, and we value it beyond its rand and dollar tags.
Art from the hearts, minds, and souls
Anyone can wield a brush with red paint onto a white canvas – but can they make you feel: I want you?
Anyone can draw a line, but who can get you to look again and again and still feel something more?
These are the artists, the pieces, we have on Art it is.
Rules are made to be broken, except when they’re not
Artists colour inside the lines and push the boundaries all at the same time. It’s why we extol their work for hours – we size up the scale, take in the texture, deliberate over the details. That’s why we only allow approved photographers to capture the displayed pieces according to standardised lighting, distance, and focus specs. Admirers can see a true representation of the artwork and analyse it fairly.
The value is in a gasp
Art might have a price tag, but its true value cannot be measured. Its value is a gasp, a furrowed brow, a smirk, a tear. We pay what’s on the price tag, though. That’s why we make sure every piece is packaged and transported safely and you can become absorbed in its beauty at home every day.
